1999: This is the year CJSC Ukrzernoprom Group of companies appeared on the Ukrainian horizon when two grain elevators were purchased in Odessa and Nikolayev Oblasts. Later, Ukrzernoprom starts growing agricultural commodities on farms located near the elevators. The Company integrates vertically having bought flour mills and bakeries. As a result, Ukrzernoprom gains the reputation of being a successful, vertically integrated holding, specializing in grain growing, and flour processing and bread baking.

2001: The Company begins growing rapeseed, the most valuable agricultural crop in terms of productivity, and social and environmental value. Rapeseed is a very technology intensive crop, and requires advanced agricultural knowledge and machinery.

2006: In the first half of the year, Ukrzernoprom Group shareholders decided to separate the agricultural business line which was to become the Group’s driving force for growth. In the second half of 2006 and the first half of 2007, the Company leased 40,000 hectares of agricultural land.

2007: Ukrzernoprom Agro successfully integrates its new farms. The Company manages to sow over 40,000 hectares of winter crops, and cultivate and prepare over 25,000 hectares for spring sowing.

2008: More than 243 ths tons of grain crops and oil-bearing crops are harvested. Ukrzernoprom Agro was awarded the ISO 9001:2000 certificate confirming compliance with international standards of quality management and became the only Ukrainian crop growing company certified according to ISO 9001:2000

2009: Under the conditions of the inoperative banking system and credit crunch, the Company keeps developing evolutionary. More than 190 ths tons of grain crops and oil-bearing crops are harvested.
